    Sarah Damiani, M.A., M.Ac., L.Ac.

Sarah Damiani is the owner and founder of Complete Care Acupuncture and Wellness. She is licensed by the Maryland State Board of Acupuncture and holds a Master of Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute as well as a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the Pennsylvania State University. She is also a certified Acu Detox Specialist with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. She strives to bring the best Acupuncture treatment possible to Crofton, Maryland and the surrounding area.

Sarah specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, utililizing a sophisticated technique called the “Balance Method”, which allows for the treatment of pain without needling into the painful area itself. For example, neck pain can be treated by stimulating acupuncture points near the wrist and ankle.

In addition to her studies at Tai Sophia, Sarah spent two years studying with internationally-renowned Chinese medicine practitioner Lonny Jarrett in Stockbridge, MA. As an outcome of this study, she is able to integrate and utilize an advanced system for pulse diagnosis into her overall treatment strategies. This system benefits her patients greatly by giving detailed information on both the nature and etiology of any pathological patterns that may be present.

Sarah is certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) as an Acu Detox specialist. The NADA treatment protocol consists of 5 needles placed on each ear and is used often in her treatments for patients who are quitting smoking, dealing with overeating, coming off of long-term use of medication, or struggling with addictions of any kind.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cooking, stand up paddle boarding, hiking, gardening, and traveling. She lives in Crownsville, MD with her husband Matt and their 3 cats (Petey, Manny, and Q).
